With immediate effect Ticket Sales will no longer take place at SA Trails. Tickets can either be purchased on line at webtickets or can be purchased at the farm. ticket office has moved to the main gate of the farm.

Northern Farm Nature Reserve (also known as the Diepsloot Nature Reserve) is one of Johannesburg's best-kept secrets and offers over 2500ha of beautiful green grasslands and woodlands to explore.

There are several dams in the reserve as well as 270 different bird species (incl. a breeding pair of fish eagles).

Many different recreational users i.e. cyclists, horse riders, hikers and birders enjoy relaxing in the open space and clean air of the farm.

It's a great family outing and offers safe and secure parking at the clubhouse, where toilet, shower and braai facilities are available.

Please do not approach the hippo when he is out of the water.
