Northern Farm Nature Reserve (also known as the Diepsloot Nature Reserve) is one of Johannesburg's best-kept secrets and offers over 2500ha of beautiful green grasslands and woodlands to explore.
There are several dams in the reserve as well as 270 different bird species (incl. a breeding pair of fish eagles).
Many different recreational users i.e. cyclists, horse riders,
hikers and birders enjoy relaxing in the open space and clean air of the farm.
It's a great family outing and offers safe and secure parking at the clubhouse, where toilet, shower and braai facilities are available.
Tickets are R30 per person (or R300 for 20 entries) and bought from SA Trails.
SA Trails is situated on the border to Northern Farm, just 2.7km down the road from the farms entrance gate.
We are situated in Joburg North on the R114, just 5km from the Lion Park.
